What is sympathetic restoration?
We try to let the piece speak to us and express itself as we restore it. Our antique pieces are from all places and periods. The importance lies in the piece itself, in its integrity of purpose and how its story and the skills of its original creator unfold as it is slowly bought back to life with a contemporary touch.
